tECHNIQUE

This completely original method was created when I was working for nearly a decade as a Scenic Artist for the Hollywood Entertainment Industry. The major breakthroughs happened on the sets at Universal Studios,Paramount,  Sony,Warner Bros., Disney, and several independent set companies. The technique took years to evolve. Working under strict time-frames and shoot deadlines, I began to discover ways to use plaster and other materials that not only optimized labor and effort, but saved on time and material as well. It took a lot of experimenting and fine tuning, but  cement looked more like real cement, and my Architectural finishes looked better than actual real stone...and the response was amazing!

Every project seemed to have much more depth and was more "natural" looking than anything we'd ever achieved. It's taken years of practice to fine tune this unique process and now it's evolved to the point where each project becomes a masterpiece!  

Combined with an art background and training in color theory and design,  my experience with large scale application optimizes every project's timeline. In addition to the movie sets, successful projects include ocean-front homes  in Malibu (on PCH), entertainment industry business offices, and retail spaces.  This technique provides amazing results; interiors, exterior, for the home, showroom, or studio. Attention to detail on each project infuses both action  with intention, and artistic integrity with care.
